My first 870 exposure came about when a friend bought some land in New York State and it was in shotgun county only. Bought a 870 with a 20" barrel with rifle sights and nice walnut stock. Never shot a deer with it but 30+ years and still have it. Moved to Louisiana and didn't want to mess it up so got a 870 express with choke tubes for small game. Later got a couple 870 riot guns that were police turn ins. One of them usually goes to the range for some quality time. Frank
