For $500 you did well. Any 629-2 in working order is well worth that price. As long as no one shot a bunch of deer grenade shells through it there should be no problem. I bought mine with about 10 rounds fired through it so sometimes you do find a good example. I bought mine from my brother so I know what the history was. He gave me a brother price on it because he needed cash to fix his lawnmower. He tried to buy it back later but I had bought a really nice holster for it and he didn't want to buy that so I had to say no to him. I wish he had said he just needed a loan instead. I felt bad about not selling it back to him but I'm glad I still have it too. My brother is gone now so it's something I'll always remember that I got from him.
