I recently picked up a Bucheimer Federal Man B230 holster for my mid 1960's Model 36. This one has the retention strap sewn to the front of the holster with a snap connection to the hip guard (assuming that is what the tall leather extension of the holster is supposed to be). Anyway that is all I know about this holster. Does anyone know the background? Was it desigened for Federal Law Enforcement and was it a popular holster for carrying the Chiefs Special in its time?
