The trigger wasn't defective from the factory- It worked fine, but in Mass at 10.5 lbs trigger pull, I just could not shoot it accurately. With the Apex kit, it's natural and very accurate. Still has the factory hinged trigger. Basically, by putting the Apex kit in, the gun feels like every other SD9VE that people outside Massachusetts and California can buy. Factory triggers that are normal are about 6.5 -7 lbs, and I think the Apex kit is about 5.5-6 lbs
BTW I still have the second Apex Kit I bought for sale- I'll take $20 plus shipping if anyone wants it.
