Thats my 469, it was one of the "minnie guns" sent out to various gun magazines for evaluations. When it came back it was one of the guns put in the employee raffle that was offered at S&W. You would put your name in and you could pick from the guns offered, first name picked got the first choice, and so on.These were various revolvers, shotguns and semi autos pistols that were not quite the quality of finish and wear to be offered to the public, of course the price was right. I remember shotguns going for $50. I rebuilt the gun from the frame up and added a few extras like the lanyard, a bobbed knurled hammer and polished trigger. I also fit the barrel to have more of a 52 like fit to the bushing. Having built the model 52 for the previous 7 years, I also fit it with upper and lower trigger stops so it can be single action only like the 52. i wish I had a before photo, It wasn't pretty
