But based upon your question you may as a suggestion, delve a little more into the history and background of the 44 Magnum cartridge and you'll find a very interesting story that will most likely affect your reloading desires. And yes that takes into consideration that most people start with the "standard " loads with Unique and move on from there. But based on how much shooting you do you may like the 44 Special loads way more and which also give you a pretty wide reloading menu to work with. I don't want to confuse you here, only to tell you that you're about to embark upon a wonderful shooting journey if you take the time to get yourself settled slowly, learn all you can and don't worry so much about round count but rather cartridge performance out of the firearm you will be using.
