I don't think Smith ever made a LR/Mag combo, you may be out of luck with a combo.
One of the sweetest shooting pistols of that kind is a K22. They are 6" but I don't think there is a finer .22 revolver. For shorter you could get an 4" 18, and I think they made some 4" 48s. I'm sure they've made some snubbies in both, I've just never found utility in a sub-4" .22.
