The pinned barrels were crush fit too. There was just a groove in the barrel for the pin to go through. The groove would allow the barrel to turn 5 to 10 degrees either side of vertical if the shoulder on the barrel was not up against the frame. I think it would fit or could be fitted. Then there is the issue of a SS barrel on a blue frame, but some like that look.
