I have owned several reloading presses, couple of powder measures, dozens and dozens of reloading die sets, couple of case trimmers, but only one powder scale. Ohaus 10-10 came to me pre-owned, as new in original box, for a $20 bill in 1974. Still works perfectly. Pretty sure it was manufactured in the USA.

Of course, that was $20 in 1974 money, back when that would fill up the gas tank of my Ford F100 and still leave me with about $12 in change. Or the same $20 bill would buy a week's groceries for my family of 4, still leaving me with a few bucks in my pocket. Four cartons of cigarettes. Or I could take about 40 of my closest friends out for coffee at Denny's.

In reality, $20 was the amount I allowed myself each week for gasoline and lunch money. Usually I would scrimp on lunches so I could stop off for a cold beer on the way home from work, maybe once per week.
