Red, their website states "close to 1/4" thick":
"Gun belts need to be thick and sturdy. We use 14-15 ounce leather which is as close to 1/4" thick as possible. This belt carries all sized guns and holsters even the heaviest of guns."
I may try one, just to see. I dabble in leatherwork and know that I can't build a decent belt for $30, unless it's a pure production operating and relying on purely volume. That's probably what they're doing. Buying the leather in quantity, cutting out multiple straps, and offering minimal options to keep the cost down.
