There are 2 different versions of the Model 720 - the "Covert model" and the one pictured by Capt. F. I have the Covert model, which has fixed sights, factory bobbed hammer and is DA only. The factory grips usually replaced with Pachmayr grips to make recoil a bit more manageable. Whatever you do, don't dry fire the piece as it has been known to cause the hammer to fracture and break. These revolvers are long out of production, and I bet replacement parts will be very difficult to find. They are a bit of a cult favorite, and I like mine, but $495.00 is extremely ambitious. I think I paid $300.00 for mine several years ago. If you really want it, and it checks out okay, I'd put $300.00 cash on the table and see if the buyer will bite.
