I've only owned one Rossi revolver, a Model 88 (M60 clone) bought new nineteen years ago.

It was a very satisfactory little gun, not much below a Smith 60 for half the price. I liked it and trusted it enough that it was my EDC for a year, till I could afford a dashless 640.

No experience with the Rossi or Charter .44 Special boomers, but I'm certainly not going to label the Rossi products "garbage".
