I havent had the mag drop iss with my 45 Shield, BUT, I have had an issue with the slide locking back mid magazine. It occurred a handful of times in 500 rounds. My hands are nowhere near the slide lock, so it seems to be a magazine issue. Happened with tboth the 6 round and 7 round mags.
