I don't know, as I've never shot a .45 Shield, but do know that
I like the PC over the early Shield 9mm that I owned that was very snappy for me.

At least with 9mm+P at that time.

The PC .45 has less recoil than the G36, XD-S .45 and approaches the
heavier XD MOD 2 .45 in my other safe.

The XD MOD 2 is both heavier and wider, esp for IWB carry,
with a better trigger on the Performance Carry .45 ACP.

My new holster really rounds out the gun, ammo and holster
combo..(or maybe tri-fecta) that I've searched for while experimenting with
sub-compact.. forty-fives in the past few years.
