For 915 owners who do NOT like the clunky rear sight, Novaks in Parkersburg, WV will mill the cut to receive a new Novak lo-mount sight (with or without night sight lamps) for a reasonable fee. Email them at

I had this done to my 915 (which I recall cost me around $275 from a LGS in Norfolk, VA).
I also had Novaks install new sights on a 5906... and they likewise did a great job for a reasonable price.
