Unless you have a failure, there is no need to completely disassemble an M&P periodically. My competition M&P has over 50K with one striker assembly failure. I have a spare striker assembly, recoil spring assembly, and trigger spring in my match kit. I am beginning to think the RSA will outlast the gun.
