I'm a lawyer - full time prosecutor now in the civil division, but most of my background was in the criminal division, prosecuting juveniles for every form of crime from piddly to the most serious while also doing our contract child protective cases for part of that time, followed by prosecuting felonies in a crummy county. I was also a part time cop in both Illinois and here, and of course pretty much always refused to work days.
