They were offered and produced, but as I understand it, only for LE agency customers who were already S&W users.
They were produced at the end of 3rd gen LE production, listed in the LE/Military catalogs as an option. I suppose that any agencies who ordered them might eventually trade them in on new guns, and if so, they might end up on the used gun market.
