I change my EDC when I wear certain clothes. This one or that one fits the pants better, etc. If I am traveling where my gun is legal then my EDC depends on whether I am driving or a passenger or whether I fly to a legal location with a checked firearm.

The only "event" that matters is when I am attending a place like a house of worship that is packed with targets of opportunity for Tangos and idiots. Then I switch to a higher capacity handgun.
