If you are willing to do the NECESSARY test firing to ensure it fires in DA, here is what I did to mine.
Install a C&S extra length firing pin and new firing pin return spring.
Install a factory J frame CENTERFIRE mainspring (they are lighter weight than the rimfire spring, center fire springs are silver, rimfire are red).
Install a lighter weight trigger return spring, test several weights for function. I also polished the action parts, but I have the experience and skill for that, not recommended for a novice.
What I discovered with mine was that you need to keep the chambers clean so the the shells will seat properly, and test fire it with the shells you intent to use in it if it is a self defense gun. Always brush out the chambers after firing.
All of these parts can be ordered from Brownells.

Edit this post to add: Do NOT dry fire this revolver with the C&S firing pin unless you you have snap caps or fired brass in the cylinder. The extra length firing pin WILL dent your cylinder.
