I carried N-frames concealed for years,usually a 4" M28 but sometimes a M25-5(.45Colt)or a M629.The weight was never much of an issue.Concealment in warm weather was another matter.Thankfully I never had to wear dress clothes in the summer and was able to conceal with a loose-fitting shirt.
