I'm shooting a 4" 686 converted to .40 S&W. Smith has made these before, they are called 646.
Kind of hard to find and pricey, so I just made my own. Many of the .38 special or .357 6 shot guns work fine for IDPA too, and can be moonclipped.

Thanks for the correction my memory is OK just my typing is not so go. I planned on a 4" knowing not a 5" available and yes it is the 625 revolver I plan on and not an auto.
