My preference is for the original LCP also b/c pocket carry w/the LCPII’s lighter trigger makes me nervous, especially in my pocket pointed where it is. My LCP’s trigger measures 8 lbs. and is similar to the j frame I’ve been shooting for almost 50 years. With the factory 7 round mag, and a six round mag as back up that gives me 14 rounds in a very small package. Also, the last LCP I had would stovepipe @ around 80 rounds I’m guessing b/c it was getting dirty, and this was w/all brands & types of ammo. When that happened I’d lock the slide open and wipe the feed ramp off w/my pinky and keep on going.
