Yeah, those screws shouldn't ever come loose. If they did, that's definitely a warranty issue. This is what it should look like:


The staking is very obvious and deep. So, if it's not there, and the gas key is loose, that will definitely cause your issue. I'm glad S&W is going to fix it up for you.
