The nice thing about the velcro attached to the back of the holster, is you can remove the pads and re-position them as often as you need to in order to find that sweet spot (lower, a little left or right of center). just be sure to cover the holster with sufficient velco to give yourself some move around room with the pad pack.....

I'm hoping to to get to the store over the next few days to pick what I need up. A while ago I tried a thick winter sock on the muzzle end of the holster and it did help, but the sock kept coming off. I have high hopes that this will work, and I will post pictures and results.
