It is always amazing to me that when someone wishes to challenge somebody else's assertion of a "deficiency" of some sort, whether it be semi or revolver, they choose a worse case scenario of a possible failure or challenge, etc. It is my position that one should become very familiar, as familiar as possible, with a particular manual of arms, especially if one wishes to change carry guns depending on situation or weather, etc.

I for one will rotate my carry gun based upon weather conditions and even social situations. All of my carry guns are M&Ps of one form or another, without safety. The operation is the same irrespective of the firearm I choose. Even changing gun size and caliber of different makes is O.K. (my opinion) if they use the same manual of arms and controls are in the same place AND one is familiar with how said gun shoots.
