As for the speed of Blue Dot vs Longshot.

In a heavy 12 Ga. lead or Steel loading Blue Dot is considered a
faster burning powder than Longshot.

I tried Longshot in a 12 Ga. trap load, one time...........
and it was way too loud for my use, even with a head set.
