UPDATE: I called S&W today and gave them my serial number (NCC062x) and they said “Send her in.” Two minutes later I had a FedEx Express label in my email, and I shipped the gun off today (9 Apr). Will update when I get the gun back.

Also, I asked about when the channel would be “full” of upgraded pistols, so you could be assured of getting “a good one.” She thought maybe a few months to catch up.
