Thanks for the hot tip. The bright and shiny medallions have always been a turn off for these after market Thailand made grips, now I have a solution better that asking they not be installed which was my first thought. In the past I never cared for the specific give away look of this manufacturer but in the last few years they have really come around and this thread is just what I needed to jump in and try a pair. I have a beautiful M34-1 4" I am going to fit a pair with. My first choice would be Ahrends but sometimes I feel the project doesn't warrant the $90. Thanks again for the tip.
