A month or so back I had the pleasure of shooting a 2 day 12 stage (okay 1 1/2 day 8/4 stages) IPSC competition with the current NZ Classic Division title holder.

He is young, under 30.

He is fast.

He shoots factory PMC .45 APC rounds (rather hot compared to most competition rounds) having just gone back to the .45 after a few years shooting 9mm.

He is an all round nice guy. No ego and helpful to all.

I spent most of the match scoring. He was the only one to approach me and volunteer to take over when my time to shoot was getting close (the times I had to ask for a replacement). He patched and rest targets on every stage.

A great guy to shoot with.
