You're going to get a hundred different answers because sights are all about personal preference and the anticipated use of the firearm. For range use I like fiber-optic but I would never put fiber optic on a defensive firearm. Most people like "three dot" sights but I think for quick acquisition I really like my Heinie straight 8 sights. The straight 8 sights don't give you much to brag about at the range in daylight, but in low light (especially with my prescription glasses off) I can line up the two vertical dots faster than any 3 dot systems.
Consider how you may need to use the firearm (range day only, bright daylight, close in defense, dark room defense, broken or missing prescription glasses, night time in the rain, etc) and fit sights for those possible needs.
