1967 Model 19-2 Restore
Here is what I started with . Not too bad actually , but I wanted to clean things up a bit .
I usually soak in evapo rust for a few hours then begins the hand work .

As can be expected there is a bit of pitting under the finish in places as shown here.
A bit of careful filing is in order .
More hand work / sanding and the pitting cleans up pretty well in this spot without compromising the contour of the frame any.
I usually go down to 320 grit paper and then blast with AO 180grit at about 100 or so psi. Or go with a wire wheel with .005 inch wire turning at 1700 to reveal any more areas that need work.
Then careful degreasing and start the rust blue process.
This is with a couple of cycles .
Now the finished gun . Went out and hung it on the wife's peach tree for something different as background.
