The tang sights on lever guns and single shot hammer guns look
official but are not for me to use in the woods. If you are using
a cartridge with recoil you have to be careful you don't get a
tang sight under the eye brow. Fine for target work but a reciever
type peep makes a more practical sight for target and woods. I
had a incident with a tang and 45/70 that I don't want to do
again.
