Not a difficult part to replace. Over the years I have broken several of them, particularly on my high mileage competition guns. As an armorer,, back in the day, I saw several broken hammer noses on training guns and occasionally duty weapons. It happens. With a little research I am sure you can find information on how to change it, or take it to a competent gun smith if you are uncomfortable trying it yourself.
