It’s called “jumping the crimp” and can lead to a jammed cylinder.
So far, I’ve found Winchester Silver Tips to be reliable.

^^^^what he said. I also have both PD and M&P versions. The M&P with it's steel cylinder can use the 110gr JHP magnum loads that recoil less than heavier bullet rounds. Unfortunately, the 110s are a no-no in the PD guns. Sad.
