I was t a local gun shop the other day . He showed me a 58 he had for sale . It had been refinished , chromealloy type or something like it . What was interesting was someone in the past had round butted the grip frame . He offered it to me for $650 , " out the door " . I told him I needed to think about it . I would have to remove the grips and see if the grip change had been done professionally or another " bubba job " .
