My first center fire semi-auto pistol was a 39-2 bought NIB in 1983. I went through the academy in 1989 with a 3904. Yesterday, I acquired a nice 639 w/(4) original SS mags. It needs a 'slide stop button', but otherwise, I'd rate it at 90%+. Numerich Arms has the part for $7....
