Yes it does kind of look like a giant Walther PP.

I really like the USP45s because of their ability to shoot a wide range of ammunition without changing springs like other autoloaders.
Naturally you can fire 45ACP and 45ACP+P with out changes, but these well designed pistols can also fire 45SUPER with no changes.
That takes the 230 grain projectile from 850FPS+/- in standard pressure to 950FPS+/- in a +P loading to over 1100FPS in the 45SUPER loading. This almost doubles the muzzle energy and 14 rounds in the magazine
Plus it is still comfortable to shoot
