I have to say I love a 4" N frame; it is quite possibly my favorite S&W revolver. There's just something about the proportions that they look 'right'. I have a recent manufacture M29 that is just a brilliant pistol.

Also, 44 mag turns out to be an incredibly flexible cartridge to handload. You can water them down to what feels like light 38 SPL, or heat them up to nuclear blast.
