Yes, the box for my 60-15 has the date printed on the label.....unfortunately, I am traveling on business and don’t recall the actual date. I’ve also learned on this forum how to read the “Spec. Order” number on 1980/1990’s vintage boxes such as the one which came with one of my Model 60’s. One question though, how does one distinguish between 1986 and 1996 when reading the code?
When did S&W actually start/stop this practice of dating handguns on the boxes?
