I also have a new model 41. I had the same kind of problem with FTEs until I had about 1200 to 1500 rounds through it! I guess it’s because the tolerances are so tight when it’s made it has a very long break in.… At least mine did. I tried the drop of oil on the first casing in a Mag, tied HV, etc. everything I read people seem to say about the same thing that it takes a long time to break it in. I took it to the range on Friday and ran about 250 rounds through five different magazines using CCISV ammunition and I didn’t have one FTE the whole time! So, in my case anyway it’s just keep on plugging away and I think eventually you’ll be happy.
