I ran back and placed the gun on layaway. BTW, the lockup on it was perfect. I can see a faint dirt line on the frame where from it wearing Pachmayr grips. I will grab a set for it after I get it paid off.

Excellent decision. That’s a fine example of the Mountain gun design! I’m envious. I forget about the advantage of layaway when cash isn’t immediately at hand.
