I sometimes help run rimfire silhouette matches at our local club. Knocking over steel rams with a .22 pistol at 100 yards just NEVER gets old.
The cool thing is that at 100 yds, you pull the trigger, wait for what seems like an eternity for the bullet to get there, then (if your good, lucky or both), watch the target start to tumble. It's only after the target is 1/2 way down will you finally hear the ring of the steel. :-)
