Default I get full nutritional info on a 50¢ bag of potato chips, not on a $25 box of ammo.

I get complete nutritional information on a 50¢ bag of potato chips. How about on a $25 box of ammo?

Caliber, bullet weight, bullet style. Just great. Sometimes, muzzle velocity is printed, too. Even less frequently, muzzle energy is printed, too. Ok/fine. How about on all boxes of ammo? That would be a nice touch. Is there enough room on the box to show all of the info mentioned above, plus the length of the barrel that yields these specs? And if it was a test barrel, indicate if the barrel was vented, if they are revolver rounds?

How about............... wait for it................ Gasp! Pressure in psi or cup printed on the box of ammo?

Next, what if new firearms contained info in the user manual about maximum pressure in psi or cup for two scenarios: Frequent firing many rounds over a long period of years, and max pressure if the firearm will be used seldom, such as discharge only in self defense?

Gosh, if this were happening, there would not be so many firearms enthusiasts walking around with a cloud of question marks swirling around their heads.
