Found a local 45 acp mountain gun in 4" with rounded butt and rosewood stocks with box and docs for $800. Revolver has been fired but has been cared for. See the pics for condition. I've never had an N Frame revolver but I was surprised at how well it fit my hands and it wasn't nearly as heavy as I expected. It doesn't appear to have any moon clips with it but I know those are available and cheap. What do you guys think about the price is that fair for one in .45 ACP? I don't see these come up for sale ever locally, even on GunBroker there don't seem to be a plethora. I'll be researching tonight but there didn't seem to be a whole lot of information from what I've read this far in terms of production numbers. Let me know what you guys think in terms of price and condition.
