Seems like the jacketed rounds with factory powder should go ~750-1000 rounds no problem.

As I said, there's a little more endshake than other new S&W's, though not excessive. I'm guessing they left a little more play between the yoke tube and the cylinder face so as to allow more room for fouling before it becomes sluggish.

I can look at this K-frame like a short 1911: great gun for carry, but need to maintain it every 750-1000 rounds (spring change for the short 1911, clean out the yoke tube for the K-frame).
