They are thinner that SW Target stocks but that does not bother me in the least. I wanted a flatter profile grip that would resist twisting in my hand. The original grip felt like a oversized broom handle and I had issues with horizontal stringing because of the grip profile. The flatter conversion grip solved that as the wider profile resisted twisting in my hand and gave me far better control with it.
