Default Talk about hard primers

On my way to the range yesterday, I stopped by my favorite LGS and bought a box of PPU 130gr. copper coated plinkers that he had on sale. Wow -talk about hard primers My trusty old 642 barely made a dent ( but they all fired ), while the primers in my hand load wad cutters, I also had along, showed the proper strike. Anyone else found this with PPU ?? I posted this so if someone else experience this (very light primer strikes with PPU) and worried about a gun problem, the first place to look would be the ammo.
