All good info here and good pics, And when people complain about price, if they built one what would they sell for?Colt of course has to make money to pay the employees that 25 to 30 buck a hour wage,

they are not just slapping parts laying around and ten buck a hour workers. And they don't have some hidden warehouse of new fifty year old new parts laying around. And even the stuff we left behind in Nam has been tossed around the world and beat to ****.Over 25 years ago had the chance to check some of it out.And most was shot and worn at that time.

Even cases of new in crate was no longer new in crate tested trained on and 50% anodized finish left.It was great Colt did this now.And in twenty years they will probably do the Afghan /Iraq commemorative M-4 for those vets. Who will be hitting way over age 50.

Sure these are not for everybody and that's because everybody won't get or have one.I am not like everybody else. And neither is this rifle for everybody. It will have its own following. When I sold those last three the new buyers were very happy to get them. And had no problem with the $2,500 tag. Just like when a guy gets his TROY or Brownells. or builds his own.

If happy nothing else matters. On a personal point pull out of 4 hour BIG C surgery being told 50% might not make it. And wake up. and you are happy. Get one of these and be happy again.

Heck they can even buy a low cost S&W AR-15. it won't be a Pony.
But they can still blast away. RON K.

P.S. As one said another Zombie post brought up again. Well the controversy never ended.
