Just to Update. I reassembled the 686 and have fired 100 rounds so far. 50 rounds each of 357 magnum and 38 special. Gun performed flawlessly. While it was apart, I did some polishing of the moving parts and also installed a spring kit. It’s got a smooth, much softer double action now and the single action, I’d say it’s the definition of a “hair trigger”. Very Nice !
